This week's release is all about making life easier for the people on both sides of the counter.

We've got a major new feature for family customers, a handful of Virtual Terminal upgrades that cash-handling businesses will appreciate, some MyStore presentation fixes, and a few quality-of-life improvements to round things out.

Here's everything that's new.

Headline Feature

Family Accounts via MyStore

If you serve families, whether you're running a fitness studio, a kids' activity center, a recreation facility, or anything in between, this one is for you.

What's New

  • Self-service family account creation. Consumers can now create family accounts on their own, either through the Consumer Portal or during checkout via MyStore. No more support tickets or back-office setup.
  • Automatic customer account creation. Any family member added gets a customer account automatically created on your business side, but only after their first transaction completes. That means cleaner records, no clutter, and no manual data entry on your end.
  • Guardian waiver signing at checkout. Parents and guardians can sign waivers right in the MyStore checkout flow. No more chasing paperwork or printing forms.
  • MyStore Family Memberships are live. Family memberships purchased via MyStore now work end-to-end.
  • MyStore Family Punch Passes are live. Same goes for family punch passes, fully usable on MyStore.

Why It Matters

Family accounts have always been one of the most-requested features, and the gap between "I want to sign my kid up" and "I'm actually checked out" was full of friction. This release closes that gap. Customers self-serve, guardians sign in-flow, and you get clean, organized customer records as a byproduct.

Virtual Terminal

Cash Handling Just Got Easier

A couple of focused fixes that anyone running cash transactions will notice right away.

Cash change now displays before you proceed

When you process a Normal Virtual Terminal Sale and the customer pays cash, you'll now see the change owed before moving to the Order Report.

Tendered amount and change now save

The tendered amount and change now appear in the Order Report and Receipt views, keeping the customer receipt and your records aligned.

These are small changes, but they add up over the course of a busy day. No more mental math at the counter, no more flipping between screens, and easier reconciliation later.

MyStore Manage Settings

MyStore Now Respects the Order You Set

If you've ever carefully arranged your events or services in a particular order, only to have MyStore show them in some other order entirely, you'll appreciate these improvements.

  • Event order on MyStore now respects MyStore > Manage. The order you set is the order your customers see.
  • Service order on MyStore now respects MyStore > Manage. Same fix, applied to services.
  • Email fix for MyStore service orders. Confirmation emails were showing the wrong date for service orders. That's resolved.

If you've been working around this by re-ordering things manually or warning customers about the email date, you can stop now.

Custom Customer Fields

Custom Fields Now Flow Through to MyStore

A targeted improvement for anyone using custom customer fields:

MyStore now picks up custom fields you set up in Settings. When you create or edit custom customer fields under Settings > Customer Settings, those changes now flow through to MyStore.

That means the data you collect from customers on MyStore stays consistent with what you're collecting everywhere else.

Miscellaneous Fixes

Invoice PDF Improvements

A few smaller items worth knowing about:

  • Regenerate PDF on invoices. You can now regenerate an invoice PDF on demand. Handy when something changes after the fact, or when you just need a fresh copy.
  • Invoice PDF resolution improved. Your invoices now look as professional as the rest of your operation.

Wrapping Up

This release leans into two themes: removing friction for your customers and tightening up the details that matter to you.

Family Accounts, guardian waivers, MyStore family memberships, cash change visibility, MyStore ordering, and invoice PDFs all work toward the same goal: smoother operations for your team and a better experience for your customers.

Have feedback or run into something? Let us know. We read it all.

Happy releasing.
