Can I set different buffer times for different services? +
Yes. Buffer time is set at the service level in SIXPAC. A massage can have a 15-minute after-buffer, a home visit can have a 30-minute before-buffer for travel, and a haircut can have no buffer at all — each service is configured independently.
Will clients see the buffer time when they book? +
No. Buffer time is completely invisible to clients. They only see available appointment start times — times where the service duration plus buffer fits within your schedule. The buffer is silently reserved in the background.
Can I set a buffer before the appointment instead of after? +
Yes. SIXPAC supports both before and after buffers independently. You can set 10 minutes before for setup, 15 minutes after for cleanup, or any combination. Both can be set on the same service simultaneously.
Does buffer time apply to recurring appointments? +
Yes. Buffer settings apply to all bookings for that service — including every instance of a recurring appointment. If a client books a weekly session, the buffer is included in all weekly recurring blocks automatically.
What if I want to override the buffer for a specific appointment? +
